James texted me yesterday to tell me that he was having his wisdom teeth pulled today, so I sent hi ma text asking how he's feeling. We started texting back and forth a little, and this is how it went:

Me: Look, I really need to know where I stand with you....I know you've been avoiding me for the past several days..I'm not stupid.

James: You were freaked out. You told me more than once that you really didnt want to talk to me because of it. So i havent wanted to talk Back.
Me: Because you did the typical guy thing and it pissed me off. You acted like you actually might want to be with me, then bailed after you got what you wanted. and it's fucked up. you were supposed to be one of my best friends.

James: I didn't fucking want sex Jen. You brought that to the table and i freaked out because i took it.
Dont even try to pull that i got what i wanted and bailed bullshit

Me: We both made a move to have sex..don't just put all the fucking blame on me, james.

James: Sex isnt what i wanted. You put it out there. And i freaked out because i did it when i really didnt want to yet

Me: Oh boo fucking hoo....I forced you to fucking have sex...riiiiight .Seriously, James, grow the fuck up. You made the decision to have sex with me. No one held a knife to your throat and made you do it. It was obvious that you wanted to. I didn't "put it out there". I moved to the bedroom b/c I didn't want us to be making out in front of my kid. One thing lead to another. I'm not innocent. But neither are you. And you're acting like a real douchebag.

James: What part of i did it gives you t he impression that i think you made me do it. I just hadnt wanted to do it that soon and it freaked me out.

James: One thing lead to another? What happened to "i was going to get you into my bedroom and fuck you" ?

Me: Um...those words never came out of my mouth.

James: I was laying right next to you when you were talking about it

Me: I remember everything that happened vividly. Did I want to have sex with you? Of course I did. I had for a long time. But did I come onto you or try to make it happen? Absolutely not. You are obviously reading more into what was said than was actually implied. And, of course I freaked out....YOU started freaking out and making me feel like absolute shit..how was I supposed to respond? You acted like you wanted something with me, and then you completely turned the tables on me. You KNOW what I just went through and you still acted like that.

James: I'll text you later. I'm not ignoring you.

The internets have exploded today.

My lawnmower is out of gas, and I have no money, so it looks like my grass is just going to not get cut today. I have a forest growing in my yard. This is not a good thing.

I think I'm going to make a music post later. I've been listening to great music today, and I feel the need to share it. :)

Beef stroganoff is in the crock pot.

I am so excited about this. If it's delicious, I'll be making this once a week.

I'm enjoying my day off so far. I plan on working on laundry, washing the few dishes that are in the sink, and getting some more stuff form the spare bedroom boxed up and cleaning part of the carpet.

I'm finally on the fourth disc of Queer As Folk Season 1. Michael is the gay version of my perfect man, srsly.

Tomorrow will be a super easy day at work. We're closing four hours early, and there are two of us closing, so it'll be a great night hopefully. Then, I don't go back to work until Sunday.

Okay, I need lunch...I made tuna salad a couple of days ago, so I'm going to go toast some bread and make a sandwich. :)

Wall-E was AMAZING. I LOVED it. So did Mason. I can't wait until it comes out on DVD.

Before the movie, we went to Great Wall for Chinese food. The food was tasty and I ate way too much. After lunch, we went to the movie, then we headed to Wal-Mart, where I bought stuff for the cats and a few groceries and laundry stuff. I was left with $10 until next payday after I bought all of the stuff I needed for Mason and the cats and the house. After Wal-Mart, we stopped by Blockbuster so Mike could drop off some DVDs. He and my mom go to Blockbuster on an almost daily basis, so they are friendly with all of the employees, Well, we mentioned that we had just taken Mason to see Wall-E, so the woman behind the counter handed him a stuffed Wall-E and told him that she had just gotten them in today and that he should ask his mommy to buy it for him. (I fucking hate when people do that shit.). Well, Mason was so excited and he loved it and kept snuggling it, so I now have $3.00 until payday. :)

Mason's new stuffed Wall-E. He looks manic depressive.

I had originally planned to cut my jungle-of-a-yard today, but I can't get the lawnmower to start. Grrrroar. I guess I'll have to get someone to come by and get it started for me tomorrow.

I'm kinda tired anyway. I'm looking forward to settling in early with Queer As Folk DVDs and IMs.

It feels so good to not have to go to work today. :)

I'm still feeling kinda groggy and trying to wake up, even though I went to bed earlier than usual last night, though not by much.

In about 45 minutes, I'll be heading out to go pick up my check from Rouses, then going get lunch somewhere. After that, it's Wall-E with Mason, then grocery shopping. :)

When I get back home, I have to cut my grass....ugh.

Anyway, what do you guys have planned today?

Work was so boring. I got there and immediately started cleaning stuff. At 4pm, I had to go to a meeting about customer service, then I got back to the deli at 5pm and worked until 10.

Now, I'm home, catching up on LJ,eating 7 layer dip and relaxing before I curl up on the couch with Queer As Folk.

I work my usual 1:30-10 tomorrow, then I'm off for two whole days! My schedule the rest of the week sucks, because I only work three days.

My schedule for the next week (mostly for my own reference):
Tuesday: work 1:30-10
Wednesday: pick up my check from work, go to lunch, go to see Wall-E, go to the grocery store, cut the grass
Thursday: clean and organize spare bedroom/storage room, make beef stroganoff, do arts and crafts with Mason
Friday: work 1-6, maybe go to see the fireworks with Mason at Heritage Park
Saturday: maybe BBQ, see about having new picture done of Mason at Wal-Mart
Sunday: work 1:30-10
Monday: work 1:30 to 10
Tuesday: going to cook something new from scratch
Wednesday: pick up my check from work, go to lunch, go grocery shopping, go to the arcade and play DDR until I pass out, arts and crafts with Mason

My life is so lame.

Well, Jimmie and Sam just called....they are on the way over. So, I guess no sleep for me just yet. It's okay though...I love my gay boys more than life.

I still haven't talked to James much. Well, at all really. He's texted me twice to my e-mail address, but it's always while I'm at work. And, he hasn't returned any of my calls. He called me yesterday, but I ended the call quickly because he was still being weird and it was really pissing me off. I really miss my best friend. You seriously have no idea. Fuck the sex and the feelings and all of that...I just miss my James.

Isn't it sad that I live in the New Orleans area, I know people in the band, and I love and know most of their songs, but I STILL haven't seen them live. It's sad, really. Last night, I chatted on the phone with a very wonderful, important, and special LJ friend for a while, then I curled up on the couch and started watching Queer As Folk Season 1, which I LOVE.

Then, the fever comes back with a vengeance. I ended up laying in bed, awake and sick, until almost 7am. Needless to say, the lack of sleep made my day at work almost unbearable. Plus, I was sick as hell at work. It was such a shitty day.

Work pet peeve of the day: There's someone scheduled until 8pm and then me, who works until 10pm. This is how it is daily. However, the 8pm person always ends up leaving at 7 or earlier, and that annoys me. If I'm stuck there until my shift is over, why should the other person get to leave early? Yes, we get most of the work done by 7, but there are other things that need to be done, and it makes it alot easier if my help stays until 8. Well, Ms. Frankie, the deli manager, write a note on the schedule telling everyone that they need to start working their entire shifts. So, what time does my 11:30-8 help leave? 7

*annoyed*

This should hopefully be a good week. I work Monday and Tuesday, and then I'm off Wednesday and Thursday. We might be closing early on the 4th, which means I would only have to work four hours. Then, I'm off Saturday, because I wanted to do something with my mom and Mason together. It's going to be a short work week, but I really just need to get some rest. Wednesday, my mom's boyfriend and his son and me and Mason are going to go see Wall-E and probably going to go eat pizza. Then, I'm going to buy groceries and head home and work on cleaning out my spare bedroom. Then, I might have plans with a friend.

Thursday, I'm going to make bellasmommy's crock pot beef stroganoff and spend the day doing stuff with Mason....I'm going to get him a new kiddie pool Wednesday and take him swimming Thursday.

Well, it's after midnight, and Mason is still awake, so I'm going to go lie down with him in a bit, after I finish chatting and reading e-mail.
